Trees Grow on the Stones Too is an action-packed Russian-Norwegian co-production.

After Vikings attack his village, Kuksja is captured and taken back to their ship as a good luck token. After proving himself in battle, the Vikings then welcome him into their cline and bestow him with the Norse name, Einar (“Happy”).

However, troubles soon arise when Kuksja / Einar fall in love with the Viking chief’s daughter, the beautiful Signy. She is already betrothed to the vicious warrior, Sigurd.
