Synopsis

In Silver Heads scientists embark on a secret experiment to fuse man and tree.

The purpose of this fantastic experiment is to create man-tree resistant to and durable in the most treacherous environments. A small group of scientists head out to a remote forest landfill to run their research. However, this forest is not at all deserted, as the scientists first think. First, a local forester lives there with his wife and son. Second, strange creatures roam around them, remnants of previous experiments just as strange.

This film is meant for people who enjoy eccentric movies. Its lack of clear plot, blend of science and mysticism, and bleak, absurd landscapes bring to mind the work of Tarkovsky. However, Silver Heads is also more than that – it’s filled with humor and vague ideas of the director mocking certain scientific and social ideas. Definitely consider giving this unique film a watch and prepare to marvel at what the human mind can conceive. And if you’re looking for something similar, check out Tarkovsky’s Stalker or the spooky Daddy, Father Frost Is Dead.
