Bite the Dust (Отдать концы) is 2013 Russian comedy directed by Remove term: Taisiya Igumentseva. It tells the story of what a group of isolated Russian villagers get up to when they are shocked by an announcement that a giant meteorite will soon hit Earth.
The film screened at the Cannes Film Festival, following on from director, Taisiya Igumentseva’s success there the previous year. In 2012, she received the main student prize for her short film, “The Road to.”
Bite the Dust takes place in a tiny village where only ten people live, along with a cow and a dog. When they learn of the impending doomsday they face, they all decide to say and do everything they’d been keeping inside themselves. However, when they wake up after a wild final night, they realize they’re all safe.
