The Sea

The Sea is an elegant drama by Alexandra Strelyanaya, also director of The Dry Valley. It tells the story of carefree love by the endless sea. A young photographer from Moscow is stuck in turbulent, metropolitan life. Every night, he dreams of the wild, endless sea. When summer arrives, he sets out to the shores of the White Sea to document the life of the local fishing communities. That’s where they meet.
