Synopsis
The Mitten is an award-winning stop motion animation by Roman Kachanov. A clear and simple story, this short film is all about a little girl, Anya, who desperately wants a dog. After her mother refuses to let her bring home a puppy, Anya starts to play with her mitten, pretending it’s a dog. Then, the power of her imagination turns the mitten into a dog, and together they take part in the local kennel club competition. Finally, Anya and her dog return home, only for it to turn into a mitten again. When Anya’s mother sees her daughter is trying to feed her mitten, she decides to go get her a real dog. A happy ending!
