On December 7th 1988, the devastating Spitak earthquake hit Armenia, killing 25,000 people and laying waste to many towns. On the day of the quake, two men arrive in their home town: Konstantin Berezhnoy, a 50-year-old Russian, and Robert Melkonyan, a 28-year-old Armenian. Together they show great courage and work to save as many as they can.
