The Confession

The Confession (აღსარება) is a recent Georgian film about a village priest, Giorgi, who struggles with his sacred path. A former film director, the priest tries attracting villagers to the church be screening a series of movies. After he shows them the American classic, Some Like it Hot, the parishioners share that one of the local village teachers, Lili, is the spittting image of the film’s bombshell star, Marilyn Monroe. Once Giorgi meets the Lili, he is instantly smitten and must soon wrestle between corporeal temptations and his oath to the priesthood.
