No Path Through Fire

No Path Through Fire is acclaimed director Gleb Panfilov’s first feature film. It tells the interesting story of a talented nurse trying to find happiness in the middle of the bloody Russian Civil War. The nurse, Tanya (Inna Churikova), takes care of the wounded as part of a hospital train during the war. During this slow-moving, but never dull film, we get to see the development of her personal relaionships during this devastating time. She establishes a budding romance with a young soldier and later on discovers her artistic skills in painting after a chance encounter on the train.
