Mister Designer

Mister Designer is an exciting and a little eerie mystical drama about a sculptor who dreams of breathing life into his magnificent mannequin creations. One day, he succeeds in doing this, but the results surpass all his worst fears. 

There’s little in Western cinema to compare to this strange film. Mister Designer is by no means a scary movie. Rather, it’s a philosophical story about an artist who dared to challenge God and got punished for it in return. It’s also a fascinating journey into the Silver Age of Russian culture at the beginning of the 20th century.
