An Easy Life

After graduating from the Institute of Chemical Industry, Bochkin decides to stay in Moscow and get a job as a dry cleaning manager.

Doing a lot of business on the side, Bochkin soon becomes rich. However, the easy money doesn’t bring him happiness.

One day, his old school friend, Lebedev, comes to town and stops by to visit. He’s working as a scientist in the Siberian city of Dalnegorsk. Bochkin feels uncomfortable about his occupation and pretends that he’s a researcher.

Realizing how much he craves a job involving real scientific exploration, Bochkin decides to make a change. He leaves Moscow for Dalnogorsk, where he can pursue his future as a scientist and find happiness.
