A Nest of Gentry

A stunning film adaptation by Andrei Konchalovsky of the novel of the same name by Ivan Turgenev. The story depicts life of the landed gentry in the Russian Empire of the 1840s. After traveling through Europe with his wife, a Russian nobleman returns home to his estate. Paying a visit to his neighbors, he meets the beautiful young woman and immediately falls for her.
